Promoting long summer serves through a distinctly British and characterful campaign platform.

Working with Diageo, we developed a nationwide POS campaign celebrating the wonderfully eclectic nature of the Great British summer. Created to promote Diageo’s long, refreshing spirit drinks, the campaign revived the idea of the Great British Garden Party through a series of humorous, character-led scenes featuring everyone from eccentric aristocrats and nudists to gloriously ordinary garden party regulars. Built around lines such as ‘A right fancy mix’ and ‘Refreshingly mixed’, the campaign tapped into those familiar moments of unwinding after work – garden gatherings, barbecues and long summer evenings made better with a well-mixed drink in hand.

They managed to capture something very familiar and very British without it feeling clichéd. The campaign had real warmth, humour and personality, and worked brilliantly across retail environments. It stood out because it felt genuinely human, and because it made people smile.
